- Base ring: Loop the tape around the shaft and scrotum together, behind the testicles and as close to the body as a ring would sit. Read the circumference.
- Shaft: Circumference of the flaccid shaft at its thickest point, usually just behind the glans. Tape snug against the skin, not compressing it. Sets the base and the shaft end diameters together; Sizing › Shaft can then taper one from the other.
- Length: From the pubic bone to the tip with the ruler pressed firmly into the fat pad above the shaft. Flaccid and hanging, never stretched.
